By learning more about how we build resilience and manage stress, communicate with colleagues and set boundaries, create a supportive work environment and develop healthy relationships in the workplace, amongst others, we can start to put in place measures that help us to manage stress more efficiently and become more resilient in both our domestic and personal lives, thus becoming more productive and efficient at work.
Too often the misconception that people are either born with artistic ability or not is able to permeate into our schools. Teachers also feel less confident in delivering the art curriculum because they feel they are not ‘artists’.
This course aims to put these unhelpful views to bed and give teachers the confidence they need to deliver art with passion and enthusiasm and help bring out the artist in all their pupils.
School leaders are often not computer experts and do not want jargon and techie-speak when all they need to know is the educational value of different digital tools and approaches. Bringing together school leaders to evaluate their current and desired position, no detailed technical knowledge is necessary, this course aims to demystify the ‘edtech’ world and focusses on the impacts on education, practical leadership strategies and ways to promote a purposeful digital culture across the school.
