Purpose of the INSET

This session is designed to support senior leaders in building an Ofsted ready curriculum and teaching approach. It focuses on strategic leadership, inspection preparation, and empowering teams to confidently articulate their curriculum intent and impact.

  • Key shifts in inspection focus: from outcomes to curriculum substance.
  • How inspectors triangulate evidence across intent, implementation, and impact.

Preparing Your Team for Ofsted Ready Teaching

  • How inspectors gather evidence: lesson visits, pupil voice, work review, and leader discussions.
  • Anticipating lines of enquiry and inspection themes.
  • Supporting subject leaders to articulate curriculum intent and impact with clarity and consistency.

Strengthening Ofsted Ready Self-Evaluation

  • Using internal monitoring to inform accurate self-evaluation.
