Preparatory Schools CPD Training & INSET

Primary schools

Our CPD and INSET for Preparatory Schools

The courses and insets (in-house) provided for SATIPS were consistently rated 10/10 by delegates and schools, prompting many repeat bookings. I cannot recommend this organisation more highly.

Sarah Kirby-Smith, Director of Education for SATIPS

All Preparatory Schools are different !

We have worked with Prep Schools of all shapes and sizes, no two are the same! Some may be very similar to state primary schools, but most have vey unique characteristics. Our Director and Associate team have plenty of teaching & leadership experience in Prep schools. We also have supplied high quality training for many years to a number of independent school associations including IAPS, the ISA and SATIPS.

“Highly engaging speakers”

Melissa SkeltonProfessional Development Officer, ISA Schools

Child and adolescent development and the experiences during these formative years can have an profound affect on adult behaviours such as mental health, so its important to get preparatory education right. We understand Preparatory schools and carefully design our INSET days to meet their needs.

Preparatory Schools need specialist training

We know your staff don’t want a ‘state- school’ course off the shelf, rather something more tailored to your staff’s needs. That’s our specialism.

Teacher Recruitment Crisis in Preparatory Schools

There are explicit links between investing in quality CPD and Preparatory schools abilities to attract, motivate and retain the best teachers.

Improve Teacher Retention

Preparatory Schools who are investing fully  in high quality CPD are seeing a tangible return on both pupil outcomes and the recruitment and retention of teaching staff.

Clearly, schools sending a strong message to their teachers that they are valued and supported are not only getting the best teaching out of them, and the best learning outcomes from their pupils, but also avoiding the costly and time consuming process of replacing disenchanted teachers who leave for other schools or sectors.

Personalised, Professional & Practical

We are proud of the quality of our training and the awards we have received which celebrate our personalised approach to INSET training. If you are a Senior Leader of Head of a Prep School you want to know that your CPD provider understands this sector, and we do.

Wonderful! I have had lovely feedback, as has the Headmaster, from members of staff so thank you once again for your patience, good humour and knowledge.

Jane Balgobin, Head of Teaching and Learning, Chesham Preparatory School

All our office staff have Prep School experience and many of our Associates have held Senior positions in Prep Schools.

Please browse the course details below and get in touch to find out what makes us different and we can begin to create a truly bespoke solution for your school.
